What can you do to gain this state of mind? What makes it possible to go and do, rather than sit and wait?

You need the simplest one word answer, FAITH

All it takes to have limitless self-confidence is to possess faith.  Our Messiah, Yeshua, said it best.

Matthew 17:20 - He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you."

Spiritual Faith in Jesus...  I bet you thought it would be harder than that.
